Your workout data stays on your device
Repwell ("the app") is a workout tracker built to keep the training data you create on your device. This policy explains what the app stores, the limited information it shares to measure advertising, and the choices you have. The short version: your workouts stay on your phone; the only data that leaves the app is a small set of advertising-measurement events, described in section 2.
Everything you enter — workouts, exercises, sets, weights, reps, bodyweight entries, gyms and equipment, training plans, and your settings — is stored locally on your device only, using your device's on-device storage. Repwell has no account system and no login, and we operate no servers that receive the workouts or other content you create. It is never uploaded to us, and it is never shared with Meta or any other third party. If you delete the app, this data is removed with it.
So we can tell whether our advertising is working, Repwell includes the Meta (Facebook) SDK from Meta Platforms, Inc. When you install or open the app, the SDK sends a limited set of events and technical information to Meta — for example, app install and app open/activation events, your device type and operating system version, your IP address, and, where permitted by your device's tracking settings (Apple's App Tracking Transparency), an advertising identifier (IDFA). Meta uses this information to attribute app installs to ads and to measure campaign performance.
We do not send your workouts, bodyweight entries, health information, or any content you create to Meta — only the advertising-measurement events described above. Information shared with Meta is handled under Meta's Data Policy. You can control ad tracking on iOS at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
Workout and bodyweight information you log is health-related, and it is stored only on your device and never transmitted to us, to Meta, or to any advertiser. Repwell does not currently read from or write to Apple Health/HealthKit. If that changes in a future version, this policy will be updated and any such access will be under your explicit control.
Repwell lets you share a workout summary — as text or as an image card — using your device's standard share sheet. This only happens when you tap Share and choose a destination (for example Messages). The app does not upload your workout anywhere; it simply hands the content to the app you pick. What happens next is governed by that app's own privacy policy.
You can export your workout history as a CSV file from within the app. That file is created on your device and shared only where you choose to send it. We never receive a copy.
Repwell is a general-audience fitness app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly use the advertising-measurement data described above to collect personal information from children.
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change and the revised policy will be posted at this URL. Material changes will also be reflected in the app's release notes.
